Do you marketers understand AI and how you're using it today?

I believe most marketers or those in marketing agencies don’t have a tech background.

I’m curious to hear your thoughts on AI and how you’re using it. Or even better, what are your expectations from using AI?

I see AI as tractors are to farming. Tractors didn’t replace all farmers; instead, one farmer could use a tractor instead of ten in the field.

So it’s really important to use AI tools in your job to stay updated, and if something big happens, you’re already familiar with it.

Personally, we’ve been using Persana’s AI to find leads and Frizerly to help us write SEO blogs.

Agreed. Where did you find out about these tools?

Techcrunch, this forum, and Product Hunt. Product Hunt has recently been lower quality though, but you can find a gem once in a while.

How often do you check those sources to learn about AI tools? Are you part of a marketing agency or working in in-house marketing?

Totally agree with these points!

We are a company that focuses entirely on AI. Our services include growth marketing, digital marketing, data analysis, and technology. I believe that marketing alone isn’t enough to drive growth.

Currently, we use AI to automate our marketing efforts, including content creation, designing, data analysis, and video production.

Besides using ready-made solutions, we’ve built an AI tool internally to handle data tasks, such as creating campaign reports for clients.

Is your company a marketing firm? It sounds like a large company with enough resources to develop internal tools.

Yes, it’s a growth marketing consultancy. We don’t have a very large team, but we work with contractors and use AI to speed things up.

How many non-tech and tech people are on your team? Do you outsource tech work to contractors?

We started with non-tech people, but now everyone is trained in prompt engineering and using AI.

Tech contractors mainly help us build tools.

Got it. What does your company’s business include? Does it cover everything from SEO to social media marketing to email marketing?

For your in-house AI tool, what issues did you have with other third-party tools that made you decide to create your own?

AI tools are like my team!
I’m a social media marketer, and the only one handling it for my startup, so once you get used to an AI tool making things easier for you, there’s no going back.

What AI tools do you use?

I think AI is a tool like any other. You need to know how to use it properly to get the most out of it. If you understand what AI can do for you and how to ask it for what you need, it can save a lot of time and effort. For example, I use Bash AI to track competitor and industry activities and to summarize that information into reports and insights.
