Have you tried everything to promote your site

Hello everyone, I run a web analytics site and have been trying to promote it for over a year but nothing seems to work. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong.

I get users through manual outreach but I’m looking for better methods. What do you suggest?

What marketing methods have you used so far?

I don’t know much about marketing, but I’ve tried SEO and submitted my product to various directories, videos, and articles.

How’s your SEO traffic looking? Is it good, bad, or changing?

SEO hasn’t helped at all.

That’s not correct. It’s a tool that can work well when used properly. You might be doing it wrong, especially if you’re building low-quality links that are easy to get.

@Farley
I hired freelancers for SEO, but it didn’t work out.

Sorry to hear that you got scammed. Let’s put SEO aside for now. Are you familiar with the marketing funnel?

I don’t have much experience; I come from a tech background.

@Sky
Picture an inverted pyramid. At the top is brand awareness, in the middle is product consideration, and at the bottom are conversions.

To get conversions, you need to build brand awareness first, then answer customer questions and showcase features in the middle, and finally focus on conversions.

We need to know the time period and actions taken. Just because he didn’t get a client doesn’t mean he was scammed.

That’s a fair point, but he claims he had no results from SEO.

One year without a funnel or brand and selling what looks like a SaaS? SEO alone can’t do miracles.

I totally understand your struggle. The idea that just having something online will bring people in is outdated. What worked wonders for us was creating content that addresses specific analytics questions people search for. Like “how to track X in GA4” or “fixing Y reporting issue”. Post this content regularly on platforms where analytics folks hang out. Consistency is key!

@Blake
Thanks for the advice, I will keep this in mind.

Content marketing on your site and on LinkedIn is likely the best way to go. Consider doing a webinar to attract leads by offering free value.
