Emails? Isn’t it really annoying to get ads in your inbox? I just delete them automatically.

Yes, really. I spend about $2500 a month on email marketing and make about $150k from it. So, for ROI, it’s by far the best. But it’s all opt-in emails, so the people actually want to hear from me.

Email has been one of the top ROI channels for years. You just have to be smart and intentional with your messaging. A lot of companies fail because they just send the same promo over and over again. That gets tiring for your audience and the results drop.

There’s no one answer to that. It depends on your audience and what product or service you’re offering.

Exactly, it really depends on the audience. SEO might flop for some, while others do well with social media. Ads, outbound marketing – it all depends on where your audience is and what your offer is. There’s no one-size-fits-all answer.

The real first question is: what’s your goal? Awareness, lead generation, closing sales, or something else?

I think SEO, PPC, and influencer marketing are still really effective in 2025. But the key to making these tactics work is quality content paired with the right keywords. Continuously creating content and using well-chosen keywords helps you rank higher and generate leads.

That sounds smart. What’s the best way to find the right keywords for a business?

Start by searching for words or phrases related to your brand or product. Then, look at their search volume, intent, difficulty, and CPC to find what fits your needs. Keep producing content like blogs and articles with these keywords, and search engines will help boost your ranking. If it seems time-consuming, look into AI-powered keyword tools to help with the process.

Brand tactics, if you want a strong brand in 10 years.

Are you talking about developing a strategy and using tactics? Could you explain more?

It depends, but I’d say on average: 1 - email, 2 - search, 3 - automation, 4 - social.

The question is too broad to give a meaningful answer. The best ROI depends on the industry your business is in. Also, ROI isn’t the only thing that matters. SEO tends to have one of the lowest costs per acquisition but takes a long time to see results. Businesses also often lack marketing alignment.

  1. Does the company have a clear marketing strategy? Not just a plan, but a real strategy. What’s the model for understanding your customers, competitors, and how you position yourself?

  2. Are your advertising channels and messaging aligned with this strategy?

  3. Is your post-click approach on point, like website UX, off-site reputation, and nurturing leads through email, SMS, and retargeting ads?

For small and medium-sized businesses, I find that improving marketing alignment offers one of the highest ROIs.

What exactly are you suggesting with AI?

It’s simple. Just use AI to optimize your micro-influencers for short-form video and fine-tune them for online communities. That’s the secret to success and getting a Lamborghini while selling your training program.

@Remy
For real? I don’t even know what a micro-influencer is. What’s short-form video? But I’ll take the Lamborghini. Sign me up for that.

If you have any easier ways to use AI, I’m all ears.
