Hi everyone. I’m looking for agencies that can create ads, run them on their own accounts, and provide reports. I prefer they don’t use my Google account or any of my accounts. Any recommendations?
Be careful with this. A lot of shady agencies use these tactics to a) lie about your campaigns’ performance b) lie about how much time or effort they’re spending on your campaigns and/or c) make it very difficult for you to leave if you don’t like their work.
A) Conversions can be tracked in Shopify, B) You get an estimate up front, and C) If they don’t have access to any of your accounts because you’ve set everything up, you can completely walk away - just remove them from your Shopify account if you’ve set them up as a Partner or Staff.
But you’ll also lose everything they did for you. Leaving them means starting all over from scratch with someone new.
This right here. You want to keep your data. That’s so useful going forward. This is the only way you or your next agency partner make good decisions. That all goes away if you’re starting new accounts every few years.
True, and it’s a great reason to use your own accounts and just assign privileges to your media buying company. I’d never suggest the client not own the accounts, I was just answering the question from the person who posted this. Not keeping data didn’t seem like an issue. I’d guess it’s for a short-run campaign.
You might want to check out agencies like Disruptive Advertising or Hawke Media. They handle everything in-house, from creating to running ads and reporting.
Lots of agencies, including ours, run on our own accounts. As long as you have tracking set up properly and access to GA4 there should be full transparency.

I do it but my clients pay in advance for having my credit card running their ads. I also give access so they can login any time and see what’s happening.
