What is your definition of landing page?

I had a conversation the other day with a UX specialist from Britain. Everything below a website’s homepage is referred to as a landing page by him.

A landing page, in my opinion, is any page that highlights just one action, such as an add-to-cart button or a form that requires full attention.

Who is incorrect? Is it unique to a certain area? After ten years of doing this, everything I have read supports my definition.

A landing page is a critical component of digital marketing, meant to entice and convert website visitors into consumers or leads. Landing pages are designed to increase conversions by giving relevant information and a call to action.

A landing page is a type of website specifically created for advertising campaigns. After clicking on an advertisement, email link, or other online marketing, users are redirected to this page. Landing pages, as contrast to normal website pages, only aim to persuade users to perform a particular action. This could be downloading a file, purchasing something, or subscribing to a newsletter.

In my opinion, a landing page is a single web page that is specifically designed to achieve a particular objective or goal, often related to marketing or advertising campaigns.
