This question isn’t for influencers. I’ve been doing social media marketing for years and have had success on almost all major platforms except for maybe Instagram.
I’ve never been able to grow an Instagram account, and I don’t understand how people make money on IG if they’re not influencers doing sponsored posts.
I’m curious how this works. You can post a lot, but the only way users can buy from you is by clicking the link in your bio. Does that really work? Does it actually lead to sales?
I recently got invited to Instagram’s bonus program, and I make $100-$200 a week from it. Once you reach 10K followers, you can also offer subscriptions, which gives you a more consistent income. I charge just a dollar a month, so right now, that’s abaout $15 a month for me.
Other ways to make money include sponsorships or selling your own merchandise.
yeah sure
so the Instagram Bonus Program is an initiative where Instagram rewards creators with financial bonuses for meeting specific goals,eg reaching a certain number of views or producing specific types of content. If you have 30k followers but haven’t heard of it, it might be because Instagram selectively offers this program to certain users based on factors like engagement/location.
I think Instagram is constantly changing, and it might have been a great platform a few years ago. Now, it’s really saturated with ads, making it incredibly hard to gain traction. We used to get a lot of story views, but now they’re so low that I’m questioning whether it’s worth posting stories anymore. Even with trending audio, we don’t get nearly the views we used to.
