Which website builder should I choose ... any suggestions

I’ve been using WordPress for regular websites and Shopify for online stores. I’ve heard about other platforms but haven’t tried them yet. Can anyone suggest other software or is WordPress the best choice?

It depends on how big your sites are. Shopify works well for all sizes of online stores and you would only switch if you need something special or Shopify can’t support it. WordPress is good for small websites and is very cheap, maybe even free, but it has some bad plugins and themes and you might have to fix some issues. You might need to move to a paid platform like Hubspot when your business grows. If you share why you’re looking for other options, people might suggest something else.

I’m planning to try Webflow. I’ve been watching Flux Academy and I’m getting convinced to use Webflow. They have Relume for templates and components that make designing easier and Figma integration is a plus. Animation is important for my market.

You can check it out!

I will check that out, thank you

Usually WordPress is used. Also, Wix has gotten better. It works well and my blog is on it. Shopify is a good choice for online stores, but I’ve heard recently that it’s becoming expensive. Other builders like Squarespace, Webflow, and Drupal exist, but some SEOs and bloggers say they have some limits.

I’m a Squarespace Circle member and love it! It’s very user-friendly so if you want to do simple web design, you can do that, and if you want to get more complex, you can do that too. It’s up to how far you want to go.

Wix, Squarespace, Weebly and Joomla

If you’re comfortable with WordPress (which I use too), it’s a great option because it’s flexible. But if you want to try something new, Wix and Squarespace are easy to use with drag-and-drop features. Honestly, WordPress still offers the most options, especially with all its plugins.

Other platforms don’t have plugins like WordPress?

If you’ve already used WordPress and Shopify, you could try Webflow if you want more design control without needing to code, or Squarespace for something simple but professional. Wix is also a good option, especially if you want an easy drag-and-drop builder without the complexity of WordPress.

I will try Webflow then. I want more design control

I love Showit for standard sites and Shopify for e-commerce

I use UltimateWB. It’s great for any type of website. Very easy to use, flexible, customizable, and you get a choice of web hosting.

WordPress is great for flexibility and customization, but there are other platforms to explore. Wix and Squarespace are user-friendly alternatives for building simple websites with drag-and-drop tools. For e-commerce, BigCommerce and Magento offer strong features like Shopify. Webflow is another choice if you’re looking for more design freedom. Each platform has its pros and cons depending on your needs.

WordPress is great for flexibility, but if you’re looking for easier drag-and-drop options, try Wix or Squarespace for sleek designs.
