Would influencer marketing be considered digital marketing if it could be used to measure sales?
are you under the impression that online platforms do not fall under the umbrella of “digital…”? or are you paying “influencers” to wear a sign and walk around in traffic in busy intersections?
@BarbaraCarter well I believe it does but some agencies doesn’t when I was cold calling digital marketing agencies for them to use my software to track sales conversion for influencers marketing they turned me to and said that influencer marketing isn’t digital marketing
@BrentWilliamson It is. If course it is. What the hell else is it? Also, use punctuation - without is really hard to read.
@CynthiaEllis I am the team leader for both influencer and digital marketing. Their days appear radically different.
Digital: extensive trading, research, and some in-platform administration.
Influencers include contract negotiations, gifting operations, and talent outreach and management.
Although they are both in the marketing space, I treat influencers differently than digital because of how distinct their daily operations and skill sets are.
They be we’re just trying to get off the phone
Yes, influencer marketing would be considered digital marketing if it can be used to measure sales. Since it typically involves online platforms and digital tools, the ability to track and quantify sales directly aligns it with the principles of digital marketing, where data-driven results are key. This measurable impact solidifies its role as a component of the broader digital marketing strategy.
